Sahar Fahimi is a Resident in Counseling in Virginia with over a decade of experience supporting individuals, families, and adolescents. Her approach is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and authenticity—creating a safe space for clients to explore life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength.

Drawing from her background in trauma-informed care, Sahar helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Using a blend of client-centered therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices, she empowers clients to build resilience, emotional regulation, and meaningful connections.

As a first-generation immigrant, Sahar brings a deep understanding of identity, belonging, and the complexities of cultural transition. She is passionate about supporting those who are balancing multiple worlds—helping them find harmony between personal values, family expectations, and self-discovery.

Specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and family conflict, Sahar meets each client with empathy and curiosity. Her goal is to not only help clients heal from what has been, but to help them grow into what’s possible—living lives that feel grounded, connected, and true to who they are.
