Lawrence Haas, LCSW
Individual | Couples | Military Family Support
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I offer a supportive, grounded space where we can explore what’s happening beneath the surface and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
My Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and couples through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and respect for your lived experience.
I blend evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness with a holistic, flexible approach that adapts to who you are- not just what you’re struggling with. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, while still leaving room for curiosity, reflection, and growth.
Who I Work With
I work with adults and couples who are:
Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress
Experiencing depression or emotional burnout
Navigating relationship or communication challenges
Adjusting to major life transitions
Seeking greater meaning, balance, and connection
As a proud veteran and spouse, I also bring a deep understanding of the unique pressures faced by military members, veterans, and their families. I strive to create a space that honors your experiences while helping you move forward with resilience and purpose.
What Sessions With Me Feel Like
Clients often describe our sessions as:
Grounded, supportive, and warm
Honest and engaging
Thoughtful, with space for humor and perspective
I believe healing doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. Sometimes growth comes through insight and reflection- and sometimes through laughter, curiosity, and learning to reconnect with what makes life feel meaningful again.

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of my work, I enjoy cycling, hiking, and exploring new places. I believe healing also happens in the simple moments- sharing a great conversation, enjoying the perfect craft beer, or heading out on a spontaneous adventure. Those same values of presence, balance, and curiosity often show up in my therapeutic work as well.
Cheers to the journey!
If you’re ready to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, or navigate change with more clarity and confidence, I’d be honored to work with you. When you’re ready, I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment.
